Designed to pay homage to events or heroes, civic memorials are a testament to the strength of those they honor. These memorials are frequently erected in honor of war veterans and men and women who have served the public.
Memorials from Pennsylvania Monument Co. come in a variety of forms, including statues and panels or tablets. They can be personalized however you prefer, through design options, engraving choices or installation of bronze plaques.
Civic memorials are generally commissioned by municipalities or service clubs. We have worked with many of them over the years and are honored each time we are selected for such an important task.
Some of the civic memorials we have completed include a World War I monument in Hazleton’s Columbus Park; the Buttonwood Honor Roll monument, which features nearly 400 military veterans’ names, in Hanover Township; tablets to complement the War on Terrorism Monument in Freeland Public Park that honors the late Paul Karpowich; Schuylkill County Congressional Medal of Honor Recipients Monument at Gen. George A. Joulwan Park in Pottsville; and seven-foot-high granite tablets to honor CAN DO volunteers outside the CAN DO building in downtown Hazleton.
Our full scale of experience and ability means we are a “one-stop shop” and can design, manufacture and install all facets of your civic memorial.
